Jeffrey Bedser, founder and CEO
Mr. Bedser is known for his leadership within the industry, as a member of the Security and Stability Advisory Council for ICANN and the Editorial Board of the Security Journal. He is also a former chairman of the Cyber Threats Taskforce for ASIS International.
A Certified Protection Professional (ASIS International) and Certified Computer Crime Investigator (advanced), his security management and investigation experience began at Johnson & Johnson, UJB Financial and Merck-Medco Managed Care. He has been a Cybercrime and Computer Forensic Awareness Trainer of the New York State Judicial Institute at Pace University, and has lectured at the Practicing Law Institute, FBI Training Academy, ASIS International, INFRAGARD, HTCIA and Rutgers University Department of Criminal Justice. He holds a B.A. from Rutgers University.
Lt. Colonel James Emerson USMC (Ret), Chief Operating Officer
Lt. Colonel James J. Emerson USMC (Ret) is the COO/Managing Director at ICG, Inc. He provides management of cybercrime investigation and mitigation services for private sector victims in cooperation with public sector agencies. Mr. Emerson's law enforcement and security background encompasses a wide spectrum of national security and public safety disciplines over 37 years with a focus on cybercrime investigation, computer forensics, and related criminal intelligence over the past 12 years.
Mr. Emerson is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, 151st Session and the U.S. Navy Information System Security Management Course. He also holds numerous professional certifications in information security and computer forensics. He has presented forensic evidence and expert testimony in many federal and state civil and criminal cases over the past 12 years.
Mr. Emerson has been the Chairman of the International Association of Chiefs of Police Computer Crime and Digital Evidence Committee for 5 years. He currently Chairs the new IJIS Institute Safeguarding Data Task Force and participates in the ICANN Law Enforcement Working Group.
Michael A. Lewis, Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Lewis designed and implemented one of the first Rapid Application Development (RAD) systems with Dravac and was the chief designer and project leader of two different operating systems for CUC. He designed and led teams that developed an operating system and database management system as well as the several computer languages. He is the chief architect of the iThreat® intelligence platform and was the senior developer of ICG spin-off IntegriChain through 2006.
